Commitment and Continual Improvement
Our approach to health and safety has to start at the top. Visible and active support, strong leadership and commitment of our directors are fundamental to the success of health and safety management. We recognise that good health and safety is good business.
We believe that an excellent company is by definition a safe company. Since we are committed to excellence, it follows that minimising risk to people, plant and products is inseparable from all other company objectives.
We are committed to continual improvement to health and safety and therefore use active monitoring techniques to measure ”how well we are doing” through site safety inspections and external audit.
Competence in managing health and safety is an essential part of professional management.
Our site supervisors are qualified in the Supervisory Module of Construction Skills Certification Scheme and our health and safety management system has been verified and certified by the Construction Health and Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
We engage the services of a Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner (CMIOSH) to support us in the management of health and safety.
